Since 2016 Urban Lawyers has held its annual Urban Lawyers Careers Conference.
The primary objective of the conference is to wider access to legal careers. The conference is divided into a series of workshops. Popular workshops include how to get a training contract or pupillage, how to develop your commercial awareness, how to perform well at interviews and dressing for success. Delegates also attend plenary sessions during the day where they hear from some of the best minds in the legal profession.
In 2018 the conference developed a new concept for delegates to meet legal professionals called Urban Lawyers Heroes. Urban Lawyers Heroes gives delegates the opportunity to meet legal professions in an open and diverse setting, obtain work experience and gain insight into the legal profession. HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Each year, we provide a fully catered conference for our attendees, inclusive of breakfast and lunch. As a charity, we rely on the generosity of others to support our attendees and welcome donations from a wide variety of organisations.
